The big picture: Update 29th September 2006

Yet another Thursday work bee occured on this day.

The Diagram on the right shows the track status as of now. All track is laid in the station. The track on the mainline now has reached 4ft from the next station. The track needs some work, there is a bad dip in one section. Been cutting more sleepers for the next working been. Also ordered more circuitboard sleepers. More wiring the staion has occured as well as gapping the circuitboard. The globes have been great to see shorts occur and what region they occured.

Charles was a workhorse making half track, and there is plenty for thr station to start. I has made a new jig as the old one was irratating me, it worked but was cumbersome.

This Friday I have another group comming over. Have been ensuring there is enough wood to do more backscene panels, including a tricky dropped section. Hoping we may try some facis trials as well.

There is a lot of work comming up. The upper station's modules are not secured at the moment. And that 3ft removeable section needs latching after that. Have to work out hte basic plan and glue cork down as well. Thne ther eis the other end of the staion, no benchwork etc as I need to make some brackets to take two levels over the lower staging yard.
