I kept on thinking about plan 4 and the problems I see have grown on me, in terms of aisleways and practicality. So I got another blank bit of paper, put it over the lower plan and redrew it. Three attempts later, and you can see what I have come up with.

Here is an updated lower level that may fix alot of the problems on the
lower level.
It makes the branch more in keeping with the setting I envise the railway in. The port was cute, but the new branch is just as good. The branch now comes in on a Wye (I do like 'em) and into "D" from a sightly different angle. I have now shown the garage link as well.
The loco depot wins by having more trackage in the turntable leads, but stays much the same.
The industrial area at "C" has been reduced to allow better aisleways. That was bugging me a bit.
No alterations to the upper level, it can stay as is. I must say this plan give more space in the sun room as well.
This lower plan seems much better, don't you think ???
