The big picture:
Update 19th November 2008

Two working bees within a week. The first was last Friday where Roger, Graham, Mark, Allan turnbed up.

With Allan doing more sleeper gluing in the main room, the reset were very noisy. Mark used his jack hammer to make lots of rubble and get rid of most of a step - now the access will be better along the railway without tripping ! All that is needed is some concrete mixed to fill in the area.

Roger & Graham were busy in the 'Unsunroom' building more baseboards fo rthe upper staging level. Only one part to do next Wednesday.

Had another working bee last Wednesday night.

Only Roger turned up fromt he previous group. Instead I had Charles,Phil, Doug and Chris from my EMRC club.

Chris was making straight track (soldered circuitboard sleeper construction), while Doug and Charles were on sleeper glueing detail.

Roger and phil made up the last baseboard. Now I need to get serious and buy the top plywood sheeting. Then get the points in etc so we can get to some track laying in this room. Roger was keen to see his overhead bridge section used, but it's placement will be determined by track laying later on.

Apart from the usual running around, deciding this, fetching that, I managed to nail down one curved point.

While it is screwed to the wall in the lower positon, it will be unscrewed then lifted into it's final place. It was planned this way so we can lay the track etc then hoist it up.

As you can see the present position of the upper stagin is in fact almost in line with the bottom staging entrance, how ironical. It will be lifted to the top most hole.
