Another Thursday night workbee - this one was big ! I had 5 EMRC members over plus the ever energectic Roger from AMRA.
Brendon was over helping out with fixes, Charles was over doing some DCC programming with Brendon and some sleeper
installation. Don and Chris did more sleeper gluing around the station. Brnedan Helped Chris with some point I
had made as well. Glenn was over with his two boys who amused themselves even though the upper deck where the
train can run is rather high - stools allow them to run their loco (hooked up DC easy enough).
Roger was still on the backdrop project gettina lot done, including the lower level and the big drop section for a big bridge. We basically saw all the backdrop that could be doen,done. All that needs to be doen is ends unsrewed and glued, so we can get rid of screws halfway down. Then the process of puttying them up, sanding and painting. The drop section is good, it cleans things uip alot. But I have had one minor Ops I think. I had used soem plastic tuvbe as wire paths, and witht he backdrops now in I cannot acces them - at least on the stair side. I'll recheck tonight. It was a big night, bigger than I thought, as up to now the w orkbees have been haphazard and quieter. Enjoy the pictures.......... |
