The big picture: Update 13th December 2006

The last working beee for the year this time was on a Wednesday.

Charles was over first and he continued the sleeper gluing ont he mainline. I had to get .6mm base woord strips for the sleepers, and underestimated the required amount. So more to do next time. When those thin sleepers ran out, Charles just continued with the 1mm sleeepers in the yard.

Chris & Roger Purser (visiting to see progress) were delegated to make some platforms to stand on to work over the layout. They are alot better then the chairs. No plans , I just said here's soem material, about (hand hovers over carpet) this high. And they went off and made two. And they wer ein use by the tiemChris had to go.

Brendan spent quality time with some of my points, correcting them. That was a evening's work!

Roger Lloyd was over as well. More facia was insatalled, almost tot he Sun room in fact. He also got one length of Masonite glued in as well. We talk a bit aobut the valance lighting, thinking how to support it, and the use of 'L' girders to support it in some areas.

With the facia now in, I can now start filling the gaps frm, the facia and the spline. Next Year's job !!!

Enjoy the pictures..........
