The big picture: Update 12th March 2004

Another working bee was held Friday 12th March by the same round robin group that came over last year.

We got ( for me) alot done during the evening, with more work done to allow the stageing area to be almost complete. The dirt has almost disapeared as well with panalling.

Then we got to the part part of practical planning, making a center line for the return loop in the stagin area, the immediate precurser to track laying, finally !

Once again I thank them for their efforts, and I see how the host can be a 'pain' rushing around finding things for people to do, and making decisions right there and then.

Here we see Roger,Bob and Graham looking how to fill in that exposed wall of dirt.

John was busy salvaging some wood.

Allan & Bob measure some craftwood out in the garage. The model railway in the forground is going to be a new exhibition layout one day, and at the back
- a glimpse of a BL under construction to run at DVR.

Roger & Graham fit the wood to the wall after doing alot of bracing work.

Trevor cuts the "floor" at an angle.

Mark is caught on the phone while Trevor still cuts away !!

The results of the night: The wall is covered vertically, The Wood with the angle cut is fitted, and there is a panel at the bottom closing in the dirt. The white triangle is the off cut (I painted it to seal it somewhat).

Trevor had cut this wood baseboard for the staging yard entrance into the wall.
