Eltham Model Railway Club
Grampian Model Railroader's Stawell 2007 Model Railway Exhibition

Our second show for 2007 was held at Stawell in July 2007. We anticipated a good two days of model railroading.

We ended up haveing a good weekend. The hospitality and organisation was up there with any exhibition we have been to, so if you are invited - GO !

Photos of other layouts , see this link.
EMRC member James Solakidis has his own set of photos of the show: see this link.
The following are photos of our layout from that weekend.

Another club's trailer, we are interested in building a similar concept for our next layout... A visiting XR in PN colours.
General view at the "UP" end. A DERM at the station.
An well modified Austrains "X" ,now a XR eases though the cutting. An "XR" on a quarry train rumbles through Murranbilla.
The XR passes the grain silo. A XR waits for a opposing train.
Front on shot of the XR's front. Nice fence, with a XR in the background.
A XR waits next to the station. Yes, again that XR waits.
Finally the XR moves off slowly to cross the trestle. The trestle bridge.
The XR on the trestle. A last look at the XR !
General view at the "UP" end. There was a stiff cold draft behind us ! A first for our club, a member entered a modelling comp with this SEM RT.
A "W" holds court. Taking a refuge in a siding is a NR on a trailerail demo train.
a good view of the trailerail train Normally railcars take refuge in these siding, or have livestock cars in there, but a NR & a modern train, well I never...
I am sure the NR crew have their doors firmly shut when put away in the livestock yard siding ! Two "T" class loco pull a gravel train down the mainline.
A 930 & "T" shunt the grain complex. Those trailerail units sure got some comment.
General view of our staging yards. A EMRC member takes some video.....
