Easter 2000 found "Murranbilla" at the 2000 Hobson Bay Model Railway Exhibiton.
This was our third showing of our exhibition layout "Murranbilla".

Two VR blue & gold "T" class diesals on a frieght train waiting in the loop for another train to cross. A VR "X" diesal on a passenger train prepares to pull out of the station.
Being single track, we see a "Down" train approach with a "Up train waiting. The "Down" superfreighter passses the vintage train.
A VR "X" diesal on a passenger train prepares to cross the trestle. The "down" entrance to the staging yard.
A Green "K" class loco on it's way through Murranbilla. Two "T" class diesals depart from the "Up" end yards onto the mainline.
A VR "C" & "G" round the curve in the cutting at the "Up" end of Murranbilla. A shot of the layout as displayed. The dim hall lighting allows the layout to stand out with it's own lighting.
The steam hauled passenger train departs Murranbilla. The staging yard can be busier than the public side.

With the exhibition open people congrigate for a chat. TheCutting and the road bridge provide the setting for a "UP" pass.
