Looking from one angle at the layout. A VR "T" diesal shunts the grain while a A2 hauls a goods. A FV "A" diesal departs Murranbilla on a down goods. Two "T" class locos pass through the cutting.
Looking from one angle at the layout, the same angle as the one above, but during opening hours. Only some shunting can be seen in a quiet moment. A Steam hauled Pass enters the staging yards. The cattle yards saw a lot of use during the weekend.
A busy frieght moving scene with a "T" shunting a train brought in by the Two "A" loco. Meanwhile a grain passes on the loop line. A "N" passes over the trestle with a "UP" Pass. The same "N" hauled pass arrives at the station. The cattle yards have been used as a railcar stabling siding as we see plenty of "T" class locomotives in the yards.
A "N" hauled pass about to pass the Budd Railcars , while a lone "T" eases onto the grain road. A "R" pulles the afternoon mail train into Murranbilla. A first & third series "T" await a cross on the main. A first & third series "T" await a cross on the main, with a view of yet more grain wagons in the yards.
Two "A" creep over the trestle with a "up" goods. One member videos the layout while another member in the operating area goes to move a train for the cameraman. A steam loco calmly eases it's goods train over the trestle. A "Y" steamer enters the cutting with a nice rake of GY's.
A "Y" steamer approaches the down hoke signal as it slows for the treste. A "Y" steamer on a grain train continues through. The staging yards. How the mighty had fallen: a rather unkept "R" charges across the trestle on a goods.
A 0-6-0 NSW steamer prepares to take on water after a hard afternoon's shunting. A member of our club concentrating on running the layout. A "B" crosses the trestle. the Hall we were displayed in was not a small one....
